Timing

When I attempted to share Ploinkism online, I faceplanted directly into a brick wall.

  1. No one is very enthusiastic about solutions that involve a lot of hard work over a long period of time under difficult circumstances, and the X Algorithm rewards showing people what they want to see. It also hates spammers, and when I posted links I would get literally single digit views.
  2. Very powerful people are putting an immense amount of energy into controlling the narrative. I totally underestimated the bot networks and influencer cliques.
  3. Turbulent conditions and ubiquitous propaganda mean that intelligent people build very strong world views and rapidly reject anything that doesn't match them. There is a great deal of talking but very little listening.
  4. I don't want to be a mighty influencer anyway, and painstakingly building a big microphone only to throw it away after delivering a single message seems inefficient, especially when I have so many personal projects.

So I finally gave up, and asked God to handle the publicity. He promised to do so, and now I can do nothing but wait for His timing and be grateful for whoever He chooses. However, I guess that He will not act until everyone fully realizes that we cannot get out of this mess by ourselves and cries out to Him. Of course, by that point conditions will be even worse, fixing them will be even harder, and everyone will be really miserable. And that is not easy to accept, because God knew all this would happen, and He did it anyway.

I see the splendor of an infinite beauty which illuminates the whole universe. It is thee! with thy crown and scepter and circle. How difficult thou art to see! But I see thee: as fire, as the sun, blinding, incomprehensible. Thou art the Imperishable, the highest End of Knowledge, the support of this vast universe. Thou, the everlasting ruler of the law of righteousness, the Spirit who is and was at the beginning. I see thee without beginning, middle, or end; I behold thy infinite power, the power of thy innumerable arms. I see thine eyes as the sun and moon. And I see thy face as a sacred fire that gives light and life to the whole universe in the splendor of a vast offering. But the worlds also behold thy fearful mighty form, with many mouths and eyes, with many bellies, thighs, and feet, frightening with terrible teeth: they tremble in fear, and I also tremble. As roaring rivers rush forward into the ocean, so do these heroes of our mortal world rush into thy flaming mouths. As moths swiftly enter a burning flame and die, so all these men rush to thy fire, rush fast to their own destruction. The flames of thy mouths devour all the worlds. Thy glory fills the whole universe. But how terrible thy splendors burn!

The Jews are God's justification. By any reasonable metric God, not Satan, is real Adversary of the Old Testament. He is the one unleashing devastating plagues and commanding the Jews to wipe out their enemies to the last donkey. The problem is that fighting for God is really hard. It means giving up things you want, getting your hands dirty wrestling with negative energy, and doing so without fully understanding God's big and complex plans. If the average religion is a crutch, Judaism is a powered suit. Everything was designed to make it easy for the Jews to fight for God, and they still not only failed miserably, but perverted that powered suit to their own uses. They are still talking about wiping out Amalek, three thousand years later, because they do not understand that God only gave those commands to stamp out demon worship and child sacrifice. Who is really Amalek now?

If there is no crutch that can truly support us, then we must train until we are strong enough to stand without one. Why do you think the Hindus call this the Iron Age? From God's perspective, He is doing deadlifts until we throw up, and this training continues beyond Earth. The only difference is that His Angels do so voluntarily rather than being dragged through life by the human body.

Then he called his twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.

No one has authority over demons. As fallen angels, they have free will, and they are using it to reject God's authority. Until they repent they can only be restrained with violence. In reality, God was promising through Jesus to send His Angels to fight for the Apostles. Do you think His Angels really enjoy leaving Heaven to wrestle with demons? What if God asks an Angel to care for a beautiful forest, and someone decides to turn it into a polluted concrete jungle mighty city? All of nature depends on their constant labor. What can they do other than love the crows and potted plants for centuries?

The Abrahamic religions are like shadows cast by a monstrous titan. Eternal life means drinking every drop of the consequences of our own actions with a will of steel. How weak and pathetic the polytheists seem in comparison! There is no choice between death and glory; you cannot peace out while your wife is being raped and your son cast from the walls. When things go wrong, you fix them, full stop. There is no saved game to load. The Quran states that God has no children because there are no words to truly convey what being part of His Family requires, or the utterly overwhelming love He feels towards those who do choose to struggle with Him forever.

God does not want to drag losers through eternity. He will not take any weight off the bar, and He will not let anyone lift it for you. He expects all of us to do our best - and more - and win as a team. If you think you can do better than the Jews, this is your opportunity to prove it! Remember, God does intend to save some of them. Can you fight for Him knowing this, without the powered suit? Who will answer the call, and who will not? But it is hard to imagine that He will begin His counterattack until conditions are so bad that all hope seems lost, and in the mean time I can do nothing but wait while the world hurtles off the cliff. Perhaps some people will stumble upon Ploinkism early - but then they will just have to wait too!
